Terms of Usage for the gtav.thehateugave.com website
Initial Notes
We encourage all our users to spend time reading this carefully to protect themselves from future problems. If in the end you still have any questions about, but not limited to, something discussed here we encourage our users to ask an admin if it's allowed before posting any message.
General Rules - Group 1
Language
The official language of our website and forum is English. Other languages can be used to help a new user or when gaming slang such as lol, orly, afk are being used. All other languages are forbidden. If any other language is used in a post that message will be deleted and the user will be warned. If the user insists on posting messages in a language other than English or gaming slang they will be punished. Punishment for this kind of behavior can vary from the poster being prohibited from posting or replying to others posts for at least 3 days, to total exclusion (Ban) of our site/forum for an undetermined time (depending on the number of violations by that particular user).
Flaming and/or trash talking
All users are forbidden to use any type of trash talk or slang. They must also be respectful to everyone and never flame a discussion. Punishment for this kind of behavior can vary from the poster being prohibited from posting or replying to others posts for at least 5 days, to total exclusion (Ban) of our site/forum for an undetermined time (depending on the number of violations by that particular user).
Insults
Any type of insults (religious, political, racist, etc) or language used with the intent to hurt other users (personal attacks, mocking, etc) are strictly forbidden. Offenders will incur a punishment. We encourage everyone to report any message of this type (by clicking on "Report to moderator") as soon as possible so our administration team can deal with the problem. Punishment for this kind of behavior can vary from the poster being prohibited from posting or replying to others posts for at least 10 days, to total exclusion (Ban) of our site/forum for an undetermined time (depending on the number of violations by that particular user).
Discussion about Politics, Religion, Nationality, Etc
These types of discussions are forbidden and punishable at our site/forum. Our site isn't the place to discuss those topics. Punishment for this kind of behavior can vary from the poster being prohibited from posting or replying to others posts for at least 5 to 10 days, to the total exclusion (Ban) of our site/forum for an undetermined time (depending on the number of violations by that particular user).
Note: This doesn't apply to religious holidays like Christmas, Easter, Carnival, and/or Halloween.
Special Characters
In our site/forum we only allow the use of the English Characters. All others (like Cyrillic, Chinese, binary, etc) are forbidden. All users should understand what you are saying so avoid any type of special characters. The usage of this type of characters will be considered spam and will be deleted.
Pornography or Malware content
Registration on our site/forum is limited to people 18 years or older but can be visited by minors so any type of pornography or malware content, like group of files/documents or programs that can carry viruses and/or can be harmful to the end user, are strictly forbidden. We encourage all users to report any message that contains this type of material. Punishment for this kind of behavior can vary from the poster being prohibited from posting or replying to others posts for at least 10 days, to total exclusion (Ban) of our site/forum for an undetermined time (depending on the number of violations by that particular user).
Forum Rules - Group 2
Link sharing, Referal Links and Hyperlink Redirection
All users are strictly forbidden from changing the url tag to hide the real link they are trying to share (the visible link should match the real link in the url tag). Referral Links can be annoying to some users so use them with moderation and always announce that it is in fact a referral link in the post. Punishment for this kind of behavior can vary from the poster being prohibited from posting or replying to others posts for at least 5 to 10 days, to the total exclusion (Ban) of our site/forum for an undetermined time (depending on the number of violations by that particular user).
Avatars / Signatures / Other graphic content
All avatars/signatures and any other images used by you, the user, should comply with the previously mentioned rules and guidelines above. All images that may contain pornography (male or female), incite hate, or is used with the intent to insult another person's religious, political, or ideological views is strictly forbidden and can't be used in any place (avatar, signature, or forum). Any image that may contain that type of content should be immediately reported to the moderators/admins. It's forbidden to place Youtube player videos at the signature, but we permit the usage of plain links (text). Punishment for this kind of behavior can vary from the poster being prohibited from posting or replying to others posts for at least 5 days, to total exclusion (Ban) of our site/forum for an undetermined time (depending on the number of violations by that particular user).
Spam, Double posting
We strongly advise you not to double post (aka posting a message that is like the one before yours and/or doesn't bring anything new to that particular discussion). We remind you that our forum has a "Modify" button in every post that you can use to edit your own message. Use that and avoid posting 2 or messages in a row. Avoid the abuse of abbreviations like LOL, OMG, OMFG, ROFL, LMAO, etc. without any other type of content. Bad posts will be removed and its creator warned by our admins. Frequent spammers can be prohibited from posting or replying to others posts for at least 10 days, to total exclusion (Ban) of our site/forum for an undetermined time (depending on the number of violations by that particular user).
How and when to open a new thread
You should search the forum first (on the left menu) to see if there isn't already another topic about the subject you want to create a post for. If there is please use that topic instead of opening a new one. If it's a new subject take sometime to see where it best fits in our forum's structure. For example: If you want to post a video use the "Screenshots & Videos" board to post it. If you don't find a board that suits the topic you want to start please contact an administrator and ask him/her what you should do before posting in the wrong place.
Off topic
Please be careful with what topic / discussion / theme you are replying to. For example: If the thread is about a Crew made job and you are replying to it just to present yourself to the community that post will be considered off topic or spam and it will be deleted.
Photos and Videos
We you use images and/or videos in your post please make them short and don't use a lot of images/videos in the same post. If you really need to share that content please consider in turning them into plain links (URL text). All that content must always comply with the terms listed above.
The Font size, type and color
Please be considerate when choosing the Font size, type and color that you use on our forum. You should post clear messages without using big font sizes or unreadable colors. When one of our administrators sees someone using that type of annoying text they will delete the message and the poster will be punished.
Forum games
All those forum games like "Count to 1000" or similar games (with words or images) are strictly forbidden. Please don't open any thread with that content because it will be deleted and you will be punished.
Relationship between user and administrator
The relationship between the users and our administrators should be respectful, polite and above all impartial. Our administrators should be professional and warn/alert anyone who is not acting accordingly, no matter their personal friendship. All admins should keep neutral in any discussion and warn/punish all users alike who aren't respecting these terms. If you see any administrator breaking these terms you should report it to another admin with proof of the violation. The administration team will do their best to resolve the situation as soon as possible.
Domain Rules - Group 3
The Hate U Gave clan owns the gtav.thehateugave.com domain and all pages and subdomains inside gtav.thehateugave.com, that can be administrated and/or run by independent people. Using those pages and/or subdomains you are accepting this terms. If you want to use any part or content from one or more of those domains/pages please contact the respective administrator/owner.
Copyrights - Group 4
We reserve all rights to our posts with the exception of topics, messages and/or content that our users post in our forums. In case of a juridical action we pass all the responsibilities to that particular poster.
